Flexibility and the workplace

When our people are at their best, we’re at ours. That’s why we encourage everyone at Transurban to live their best lives at work and at home.

We make sure everyone can take advantage of flexible working arrangements when they need to. We work with our employees to make this transition easy; from providing employees with the tools to work from home, advanced video conferencing and flexible hours. It can also be a more formal arrangement such as job share, part-time hours and phased retirement, or offering different types of leave for all the situations that life throws at us, like parental, career and lifestyle leave.

In recognition of the global nature of our business, we have early close on Fridays in North America. Year round, we encourage our people to head home early on Fridays and have a long weekend, every weekend.

We offer a wide range of services, including wellness and financial advice, flu vaccinations, health checks and exercise challenges. We also make sure everyone has access to mental health services and emotional support.
